SMS Sender 3.0

Here is the latest incarnation of the SMS Sender application that I had been releasing since 2001.

It lets you send SMS messages to Dhiraagu mobile users easily. Since it uses the Dhiraagu WebSMS service to dispatch the SMS messages, you need to have a registered WebSMS account. WebSMS accounts are free for all Dhiraagu Dhimobile customers.

The phone book, signature line and proxying features have been disabled in this release and probably will be reinstated in future releases. The new release, however, adds features to show the remaining number of messages in the daily allowance of 10 that Dhiraagu imposes on normal WebSMS accounts. The new release also has versions for Mac, Linux and Windows, unlike the previous releases which were targetted only for Windows.

   good job. works well on mac os 10.4 as well. much easier to use than the dhiraagu sms website! you have to be aware that your smses are being constantly monitored by the maldivian government.

   I found a kewl way to send SMS, Chat and to call (without CallerID)... no dhiraagu... no wataniya... just a sofware....

   I have a couple of feature requests:
   
   1. I want this to sit in my system tray (or equivalent in other OS).
   2. I want to be able to schedule a message for automatic delivery. Eg. I might want a reminder sent out to someone (or myself even) at a certain time on a certain day.
   
   This would certainly make it more useful for me.

    probably because you are behind a firewall and/or need to use a proxy to access the WWW. Configging proxy was a feature found in the older release but was disabled for this one. I will reenable in the coming release.

    yeah! great work! hey!I have been using that one.I can write more than 1000words! why dont you put a mssg lenght counter at there?It seems one part of my mssg is digested when it was sent to the phone.So, it will be easy if u set a lenght 140 charectors or a counter.

    Today i saw your blog, it is very useful to me.But i cudnt find what i am looking for.I belive you are the person who can hel me, please help, i am having a problem with my bittorrent client, i am using utorrent and azureuse, amd my ISP is ROL.
    
    I hav been usin Utorrent for past 3 months before it was ok.But now the green icon(Incoming conection status icon) Stays yellow, it never turns green.I know there is something wrong with the incoming connection.I have tried calling rol people many times but they saying theres nothing they can do about it.and they havnt done anything to there router for blocking the incoming connection.and yesterday i hav installed a free software called Advanced port scanner.and scaned for the ports and it says the ports 0 -65535 are close as far i know those are the ports used for P2P filesharing .
    
    Pls do sumthing.Or tell me how to overcome it.Or if u know a software to forward ports manually.Please take your some precoiuse time and mail me or contact me.

    This is not working for me and I think jaa can improve it much more better. Plus this software shud be in KBs but Not MBs.
